Hazrat Abdullah narrates about Generosity Of Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him)

Hazrat Abdullah narrates, may God bless him and grant him peace, that I met the muezzin of the Messenger of Allah, Sayyiduna Bilal, may God bless him and grant him peace, in the place of Aleppo (Syria). He asked about the expenditure of the Prophet (peace be upon him).

He said that I was responsible for spending whatever (wealth) the Messenger of God and that God may bless him and grant him peace had this work been in my hands from the mission until his death. God bless him and grant him peace. When I came to him, he would order me, and I would take a loan from someone, buy him a cloak, fly, and feed him.

One day, a polytheist came to me and said: O call! Do not borrow from anyone but me; I have a lot of wealth. I did the same one day. I stood up to give the adhan after performing ablution, and I saw the polytheist come to me with many merchants and cursed me very severely and started saying: “Do you know anything about the promise?” There are days left.” I said: The promised time is near. He said that there were only four (4) days left; if you did not pay the debt within this period, I would enslave you and graze goats like you used to graze before.

I was worried after hearing this. Even after I had prayed the Isha prayer, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, went to his house, took permission, and said: Peace and blessings be upon him! My parents are a sacrifice to you. The polytheist from whom I borrow has told me so, and so, you have nothing to repay the debt, and I have nothing;

He will disgrace me again. Allow me to go to those who have become Muslims until Allah Almighty grants His Messenger. May God bless him and grant him peace and enough wealth to pay off my debt. After saying this, I came out of there. When I came out to leave in the morning, someone ran to me and said, “O Bilal!” The Messenger of God, may God bless and grant him peace, has called you.”

Four (4) camels loaded with goods

I reached there and saw four (4) camels loaded with goods. He said, Congratulations! Allah Ta’ala arranged for the payment of your debt, then said: Did you see four (4) camels? I said yes. You said that the ruler of Fadak has sent these camels. I obeyed the order, and then I came to the mosque and greeted the Messenger of God. May God bless him and grant him peace. Adafar Madia, who was on his Messenger, said, “Is there anything left of this wealth?” I said: “Yes.”

He, may the peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: “Make me easier than this!” I will not go home until someone finds it.” When the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, finished the Isha prayer, he asked me about the rest of the property. I said: I have a question. Not found. The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, stayed in the mosque at night. On the second day after Isha’s prayer, he called me again; I said: O Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace; God Almighty has blessed you. Hearing this,

he said Takbeer and thanked God because he, may God bless him and grant him peace, was afraid that death would come and that property would be with him. Behind Sallam, He started walking until he visited Kashana Aqdas(Generosity Of Hazrat Muhammad). (Sunan Abu Dawud, Kitab Al-Kharaj Wal-Fa’i Wal-Amara, Vol. 3, pp. 230-232, Hadith 3055)
